But here’s the thing: Rosny isn’t just a place that gives easy access to modern conveniences. If you look closer, you’ll see that it’s a great option if you want to live in a place with relatively untouched natural beauty. This comes from the fact that Rosny isn’t as developed as other suburbs and subsequently has retained much of its natural flora. The area has thick groves of she-oaks, which line the streets as well as the foreshore. It also has the Rosny Hill Nature Recreation Area, which includes native woodlands, grasslands and low forests and is home to several rare and threatened plants (like tall wallaby grass and leafy sun orchid).
